About

At the core of our vision is our nonprofit, the Song Saa Foundation, dedicated to regenerating marine habitats, communities and land in the Koh Rong Archipelago and Siem Reap.

Song Saa is a female-founded, purpose-led hospitality and development company born in Cambodia.

‍For two decades, we have worked at the intersection of hospitality, conservation, design and community — creating places that restore ecosystems, strengthen local economies and connect people more deeply to place.

Skilled artisans throughout Cambodia, Southeast Asia and remote parts of China are at the heart of our vision.

Since acquiring the island in 2006 we have collaborated with the Cambodian government, financial investors, donor partners and broader stakeholders to enhance local livelihoods and restore the region’s marine life and rainforests. In 2023, we achieved B-Corp status.

We believe in aesthetics with integrity, collaborating with local artisans to create contemporary spaces and design collections with a traditional soul.
